Trevor Tracy Success The Heat congratulates Trevor Tracy as he was awarded a spot on the final Des Moines Buccaneers roster of the USHL. Most recently Trevor played for the Heat 18AA team under coach Kravetz and coach Azra. Trevor has also been coached by Torsson and Langlois during his youth career at the Wolves, Express and Heat. We wish the Tracy family the best of luck in the future.
Career Services Coach Peter Torsson is taking players to visit the WCHL Division One Colleges of St. Cloud University and North Dakota Sioux along with a scrimmage and visit at the Shattuck St. Mary's Prep School. This will be a complete college experience from arriving to departure. Players will visit the campuses, play at the college rinks, watch division one college games, tour rinks and locker rooms and have the ability to visit with coaches and staff's of three prominent hockey schools in all of college hockey.
Aiming Higher The Heat will offer AAA hockey this year in the Midget division. See the tryouts page shortly for updates. Clinics to start shortly as well. Please revisit the Heat Homepage shortly for updates!!
Tournaments 2009-2010 The Heat will promote its players at the most prestigeous tournaments this country has to offer. Not only is it important to play against top U.S. youth programs, but it is important to give the Heat players an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of scouts and coaches to help promote a future in hockey as a professional or scholarship player.
TRYOUT UPDATE Due to the high turnout on the Midget 16AA tryout, the Heat will field a second Midget 16AA team for the upcoming 2009-10 season. Go to the tryouts page for more information regarding venues and times. Go HEAT!

Coach Torsson is putting together a trip to visit the University of Minnesota, North Dakota Sioux and St. Cloud State University over a weekend where 94s and 95s will get a chance to experience D-1 college for a weekend, ask questions, be scouted and play games against strong competition. Two select teams will attend

The Heat shall continue its success the following season offering teams in the tier divisions across the Midget 18, Midget 16, Bantam and PeeWee levels.
