Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, my mission and priority is to foster individual development and growth on and off the ice, along with cultivating team unity by promoting hard work and loyalty amongst one another. I enjoy setting goals for myself and working with my players to identify theirs. I consistently challenge my players to strengthen their individual skills and encourage the continuous growth of their personal character. I want my players to finish the season feeling accomplished as an individual as well as a teammate. Never stop learning!

Reasons for Coaching

I began playing ice hockey at the age of five in Los Angeles and from then on ice hockey was a very big part of my life. Playing hockey allowed me to travel across North America, meet people and make friends all over the country that shared my same interests. When my playing career ended, coaching seemed to be a natural next step. I have always believed that you should do what you love and I love being on the ice. I want to share my experience and knowledge with players to help them develop, not only as players, but also as people of remarkable character.
